Alternative Building Workshop May/June, 2012

Throughout the months of May and June, 2012 I will be accepting 5 apprentices per week to study alternative building. There is no fee for this. You will work at everything from peeling the bark off of Douglas Fir poles for future buildings to making a building with cob made from clay, sand and straw.

The primary focus will be completing a building using large bales of plastic that were headed to recycling.

The food will be fantastic. Your pay for hard work will be good food, shelter and experience.mill slab and cob
